What you want to achieve, where things stand, anything that matters to you.

Most of a shop’s complexity is not on screen. It is in the rules: what a parcel costs to the other side of the country compared with next door, what happens when a size runs out, how VAT is shown on the invoice. I would rather spend the first week on those rules than on colours.

The aim is a shop you can run on a quiet Monday morning without calling me: you see the orders, print the labels, update the stock, and customers get clear emails at each step.

Who it is for

  • Shops that want to sell online in addition to the counter, with pickup in store
  • Makers and small brands with a catalogue of a few dozen to a few hundred products
  • Sellers on marketplaces who want their own shop and their own customer list

What is included

  • Catalogue with variants (size, colour), stock and product pages written for search
  • Cart and checkout with secure card payment through a payment provider, so card details never touch my code
  • Delivery options: shipping rates by zone, free thresholds, pickup in store
  • Order, shipping and invoice emails, and an order list for you
  • Legal pages a shop needs in France and the EU: terms of sale, withdrawal right, legal notices
  • Import of your existing products from a spreadsheet or from your current shop

How it works

  1. 01

    Choose the approach

Ready-made platform or custom build? I tell you which one fits your catalogue and your budget, even when it means I build less.

  2. 02

    Catalogue and rules

Products, variants, delivery zones, VAT, payment methods. This is the real work of a shop, and it is settled before any design.

  3. 03

    Build and test orders

You place real test orders end to end, from cart to confirmation email, before anything is public.

  4. 04

    Go live

Switch to live payments, import the final catalogue, redirect old addresses and watch the first orders with you.

Indicative timeline

Roughly 4 to 10 weeks depending on catalogue size and number of delivery rules.

Questions

Shopify, WooCommerce or custom: how do you choose?

For a standard catalogue and a quick start, a ready-made platform is often the sensible answer and I will say so. A custom build makes sense when your rules are unusual: made-to-order items, special pricing, a link with software you already use.

Do you handle payments yourself?

No. Payments go through a payment provider such as Stripe, which processes the card. Your shop never stores card numbers.

Can I manage stock and orders without technical knowledge?

Yes. You get a simple back office to edit products, stock and orders. I show you how during the hand-over.

Do you take care of the legal pages?

I set up the pages and fields a shop needs and tell you what must appear. The wording of your terms of sale remains your responsibility and may need a legal professional.

Can customers pick up in store?

Yes. Pickup in store is a standard delivery option: you set the pickup hours and the customer gets a confirmation email.
